 Niravra Co-Opearive Housing Society Ltd. is a housing project (HIG) located at East Kolkata Township Project Off E M ByePass and near Ruby General Hospital. The Society has thirteen(13) nos. of Blocks or Buildings. Each building consists of sixteen nos. of flats. The Co-Operative was founded in the year of 1998. The  project was undertaken by the West Bengal Housing Board. The allotment of the flats was on the basis of lucky draw based on certain  income -criterion.

 Of all the Co-operatives, ours is perhaps the smallest. Serenity, calmness and peace are the attributes that aptly describes the ambience of the Society. We have lot of greenery around the campus. The children's park that lies at the center of the campus have usual amenities like swing, see-saw, slip etc. for the children. Arrangement for sitting and leisurely idling about have also been provided around the park. The pujas are celebrated with usual fanfare. For three days there is community Lunch/Dinner at the campus. Cultural programmes are arranged on all the days during Puja. 

Rabindra - Najrul Jayanti is also organised every year where the residents participate actively. We have also a borrowing Library in the Campus. Most of the residents are members of the Library. We have fairly good collection of Books in Bengali and English languages.

This is the location map of East Kolkata Township Project - IV. Its about 3 kilometers from Gariahat. Science City is about 2.5 KMs. The nearest Land mark is of course - Ruby General Hospital. The Other HIG Housing Co-Opearatives e.g. Rail Vihar, Manjulika, Happy Nook and Abhyudoy are located in the neighbourhood.
